Ponemon Institute and Vertiv recently published the latest Cost of Data Center Outages study.  Previously published in 2010 and 2013, the purpose of this third study is to continue to analyze the cost behavior of unplanned data center outages. According to their new study, the average cost of a data center outage has steadily increased from $505,502 in 2010 to $740,357 today (a 38 percent net change).

According to our study, UPS and Battery contribute to more than 25% of the failures.

One of our recommendations for data centers is to have redundant UPS Systems and battery strings.  In case one fails, there is a redundancy.

We help our clients think through what would happen if a power failure occurs, and we recommend and implement solutions to ensure the backup systems are fully functioning.

Whether your data organization is supporting cloud-based systems, thousands of computers, colocations, multiple servers, telecommunications, or financial institutes or services, we are here to ensure you always have the 24/7 power you need.
