Thermography
Using a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera, Tristar can perform thermal imaging for predictive maintenance of your electrical systems. This predictive maintenance can be extremely useful for fault finding your electrical systems such as UPS, PDUs, static switches, and low/high voltage electrical distribution panels.
Electrical faults can lead to breakdowns and are potential fire hazards. In both cases, the losses due to downtime and repair costs can be significant. Electrical equipment can suffer from numerous faults and will show an increase in temperature.

Typically, a survey is carried out with circuits operating at full working load to ensure the highest temperature is measured. Under these conditions, the full extent of any faults can be seen.
